Atrauman Ag Silver Dressing Non-Sterile

The ointment base in Atrauman AG is non-medicated, making it suitable for sensitive skin in dermatology.

The dressing is made from hydrophobic polyamide lattice tulle coated with elemental silver, providing protection against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. It has a neutral ointment base without vaseline or paraffins, allows exudate to pass through, is soft, and doesn't stick to wounds. It's effective for at least 7 days and is designed to be non-sensitizing and non-allergenic.

Features:

  • Impregnated with Silver
  • Non-Sterile
  • Pore size 1mm
  • Prevents granulation tissue from penetrating the dressing
  • Impregnated with Neutral Triglycerides (Fatty Acids)
  • Does not contain Vaseline or Paraffin, leaving the wound residue free Keeps wound edges soft and supple, avoiding contraction of scar tissue
  • Enhances non-adherent properties minimising pain and trauma on removal
  • Hydrophobic polyester fibres
  • Permits the passage of exudate and air

Atrauman AG is used for treating various types of wounds and skin conditions, including:
