Glucogel raises sugar levels quickly and provides a fast acting energy boost in the form of Dextrose Gel (40% dextrose). Each bottle contains 36g of fast acting glucose

Each 80g bottle of GlucoGel contains 36g of carbohydrate, mainly in the form of dextrose (glucose). If you have diabetes it is always best to check your blood glucose before consuming Glucogel to confirm that your blood glucose is low and that you need extra carbohydrates.

NICE guidelines state that when 10-20g of carbohydrates are administered, blood glucose levels should increase in 5-15 minutes. Glucogel can be administered through a PEG tube, however you would not expect as quick absorption as you would through the buccal route (mouth/oral administration).

Glucogel has never been tested on animals. Glucogel is Gluten, Dairy, Lactose, Wheat and Fat free.
