Bocouture 100 units Powder for Solution- Botulinum Toxin Type A

 

Bocouture is a prescription-only medicine and is a non-fridge line toxin. It works by blocking the nerve impulses in all injected muscles. This prevents muscles from contracting leading to temporary and reversible relaxation. It is made up of Botulinum toxin type A, free from complexing proteins, and each vial contains powder for injection.

 

Bocouture is indicated for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe:

  • Glabellar lines (vertical lines between the eyebrows) seen at maximum frown and/or
  • Lateral canthal lines (crow's feet lines) seen at maximum smile
  • moderate to severe horizontal forehead lines seen at maximum contraction

in adult patients under 65 years, when the severity of these lines has an important psychological impact on the patient.

 

Product Specification:

  • Contents: 1 x 100u (type 1 glass) with a stopper (bromobutyl rubber) and tamper-proof seal (aluminium).
  • Bocouture is free from complexing proteins
  • Prescription-only medication
  • Toxin intended for the temporary improvement in the appearance of lines and wrinkles

 

Storage:

Can be stored at room temperature below 25°C for up to 3 years prior to reconstitution. Do not store the unopened vial above 25°C.
